Three Engagement Tiers Structured Around the Claims Process
Policy review, insurer correspondence, and litigation — each available as a self-contained engagement, each transparent in scope and cost.
Back to HomeHow We Approach an Insurance Dispute
Every insurance dispute begins with the same raw materials: a policy document, a loss, a claim notification, and — in most cases that reach us — a response from the insurer that the claimant considers inadequate or incorrect. The quality of the outcome depends almost entirely on how accurately those materials are assembled and how precisely the coverage argument is framed.
Our methodology starts with the policy wording itself, not with the claim. We read the definitions first, then the insuring clauses, then the exclusions, then the conditions and warranties. That sequence matters: exclusions only operate where the insuring clause first applies, and conditions precedent can suspend the entire obligation to indemnify.
The three engagement stages below are designed to be proportionate to the complexity and value of the matter. Most disputes are resolved before reaching litigation; the engagement model is designed to reflect that.
